Fontane Bianche Beach Bar

"We were hesitant when we pulled up to this establishment as it sort of looks like a gas station. However, the food was pretty decent and the waitress was so sweet! She didn't speak english but helped us with our italian and we actually were able to communicate well with google translate and she really took her time catering to us. Although the pasta was not homemade, it still was really delicious and the seafood was fresh. This is probably one of the best spots to eat in Fontane Bianche!"

"Was there yesterday for dinner and my friend had the veal and for someone who is not a foodie was loving his meal , I had the grilled calamari and it was yum and not rubbery, went back again today for late lunch and they were out of salmon so I ordered the seafood pasta and lamb chop that’s as yum , thanks for the free sorbet ! "Don’t judge on first impressions! The location might not look like anything special but the welcome, the food, the service and the overall atmosphere and kindness were five-star. Proper Sicilian hospitality. We went on a Thursday evening and didn’t need to book but you might want to on Friday or Saturday night. Despite us not knowing much Italian (scusami) and the guy who served not knowing much English we got along fine. In some places you are right to be cautious of what is recommended but not here. The mixed fish antipasti was big , delicious and with fresh mussels and clams. Spaghetti with mixed seafood was similarly fresh and tasty, spaghetti carbonara hit the mark as well. A carafe or two of the house white slipped down nicely. Generous portions, very fair prices, welcoming locals… tutti molto bene."
